This is a beautiful Rutilated Quartz polished point from Brazil. It measures 6cm tall by 4.2cm by 3.3cm (widest points).

This is a lovely quality point with clear Quartz and beautiful rutile hairs. It was personally handselected for its beauty & internal energy. There are also some rainbows present.
It is RARE to find such large pieces.

NOTE: There is a cavity at the base of this piece (1cm by 0.7cm), it does not detract from the beauty.

Rutilated Quartz is a combination of Clear or Smokey Quartz, a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7, with inclusions of Rutile, a titanium oxide mineral with a hardness of 6 to 6.5. The Rutile inclusions usually look like fine metallic hairs or needles, and they can be gold, silver or copper coloured.
